Teacher Information
We collect the minimal amount of information needed from teachers to deliver our services. This information includes:
- Account Information: First name, last name, email address, and school name.
- Content: Includes interactions with the platform, written assignments, and any other submitted materials.
- Testimonials: If you choose to provide one, we may post it publicly with your permission.
Student Information
We collect the minimal amount of information needed to deliver our services:
- Email Address: Used for login, but altered to protect student privacy. We never contact students for marketing purposes.
- First Name/ last name: So that teachers can identify student submissions.
- Content: Includes student-submitted work for their portfolios.
For school and district partners, we may collect additional student information as requested.
Parental Rights
Parents and guardians may review or request deletion of their student’s information by contacting privacy@paradigmcyber.com with their name, the student’s email, and their request. If the student uses our services through their school, the request should be directed to the school or district.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We do not rent, sell, or exchange teacher or student personal information. We do not advertise or build personal profi les of students beyond what is necessary for educational purposes.

- Opt Out of Emails: Unsubscribe from updates, though essential Service-related emails will still be sent.

We retain user information as long as needed for educational purposes. You can deactivate your account via settings. Upon deactivation, data is anonymized for research and product improvement. Schools may request account deactivation on behalf of users.

Despite these measures, no system is completely secure, and information transmitted electronically is done at the user’s risk.

- Colorado: Restricts data use to educational purposes.
- Florida: Follows the Florida Information Protection Act in case of breaches.
- Illinois: Complies with SOPPA.

- Maryland: No targeted ads.
- New York: Complies with Education Law § 2-d and the Parents’ Bill of Rights.
- Pennsylvania: Follows Pennsylvania’s Breach of Personal Information Notification Act.
